TRAINING:



Training is the foundation for being proficient and safe on the emergency scene and training is exactly where the Infernal Dalmatian vision all began. We want to help you with your training needs whatever they might be. Infernal Dalmatian will come to your facility with certified, experienced Instructors and provide quality classes for your department. Many of our classes are approved for Georgia recertification hours and we provide an attractive certificate for all participants. We keep our charges low too. In fact we charge little more than you would pay an Instructor on staff. Remember too that if you don't see a class which fits the needs of your agency let us know. If we don't have one already prepared we'd be happy to write one specifically for you.



FIRE/RESCUE CLASSES:



 MAYDAY/SCBA MAZE
(Good for 6 hours Georgia Firefighter recert credit)
This class consists of a two hour classroom MAYDAY class followed by participants completing our challenging SCBA maze which we can set up at your facility in an area such as an engine bay. 
 
FIREFIGHTER SURVIVAL
(Good for 6 hours Georgia Firefighter recert credit)
Utilizing multiple video clips from actual fireground, some of the topics discussed in this comprehensive class include; safety precautions and guidelines for interior operations, emergency situations such as disorientation and entanglement, hostile fire events, air conservation and risk versus benefit. The class ends with a practical exercise using SCBA in a disentanglement/low profile prop.

TACTICS AND STRATEGIES FOR ATTIC FIRES
(Good for 6 hours Georgia Firefighter recert credit)
Attic fires are common incidents which present Firefighters with some uncommon circumstances and challenges. This class examines tactical considerations for attic fires in the small, moderate, and well involved stages and will give you a few new ideas for attacking your next attic fire.

FIRE APPARATUS OPERATIONS AND SAFETY
(Good for 4 hours Georgia Firefighter recert credit)
Apparatus involved accidents are the number 2 killer of Firefighters. NUMBER 2! This simply should not be. We've made Relief Driver/Apparatus Operator as comprehensive as a class can be. Topics discussed include; driving laws, NIOSH reviews, rider safety, visual lead time and total stopping distance, warning devices and clearing traffic, and apparatus positioning for safety and tactical advantage.

BASIC SIZE-UP, TACTICS AND STRATEGY
(Good for 4 hours Georgia Firefighter recert credit)
Written with the new officer or personnel who sometimes must fill in for the company officer, this class provides these people with the needed tools to perform a sound initial size-up of a variety of incidents and begin operations with sound tactics. It is also a great class for emphasizing sound initial tactics for more seasoned officers. 

 NFPA 1851
(Good for 4 hours Georgia Firefighter recert credit)
After your personnel and apparatus, a department's PPE is arguably its most valuable asset. This class on NFPA Standard 1851 will provide your department with information on how to best take care of your PPE, making your people safer, helping to protect your department against liability, and enabling you to conform to this important NFPA standard.

BASIC INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
In this day and age an incident management system is more than a requirement with serious liabilities and ramifications for any department without one in place if a tragedy occurs. Using an incident management system simply makes good sense if we want to be able to run an incident in an orderly manner, provide for the safety of our personnel, and make the best use of our resources. Basic IMS is not a "rigid" Incident Command System (ICS) presentation. It puts Incident Management into a simple, common sense format that will help any department integrate into their operations.



EMERGENCY MEDICAL



ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS)
Infernal Dalmatian offers certification and recertification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support for those departments providing advanced life support to their community. Let Infernal Dalmatian bring this course to your agency and provide this valuable training for your personnel.

40 HOUR FIRST RESPONDER
Infernal Dalmatian will also certify your department's personnel as First Responders. This is a 40 hour course which follows the curriculum established by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Not only are our instructors certified to teach the class but they are experienced Paramedics or Emergency Medical Technicians who have extensive experience responding on EMS calls.

CPR AED
Cardio pulmonary resuscitation is the very foundation upon which any "save" in the field is established. Once again, our instructors have extensive experience not only instructing CPR but performing CPR in the field. Whether your personnel need initial CPR training or recertification we can provide it for you.

ALS SUPPORT
In this day and age we all have access to advanced life support. Whether your department provides it or not, your personnel are going to come in contact with Paramedics and ALS crews in some capacity. This class will enable them to understand better the advanced skills employed by the ALS team and assist them, thereby providing better patient care for your citizens. Some of the topics covered in this class include; advanced airway procedures, establishing 4 and 12 lead EKG's, and setting up I.V. fluids.



FITNESS



FIREFIGHTER HEALTH AND SAFETY
Gone are the days when Firefighters should be sitting around every shift smoking and playing cards. Our health and safety class will inform your personnel of the risks they face to their health as well as ways to prevent on the job injuries.
 
FIREFIGHTER FITNESS
Firefighting and emergency service is demanding both physically and emotionally. Heart attack and stroke claim the lives of more public safety workers every year than anything else. Our staff is well experienced with fitness in the public safety community. We can give your departments personnel the tools to be fitter, healthier, and safer. We can give you the tools and information to help you implement a comprehensive program of health and wellness for your department.

CPAT PREPARATION
Infernal Dalmatian's CPAT prep can assist your department in a couple of ways. First, we can inform you about the CPAT test if your planning to make it your department's entry level test or secondly, we can provide applicants with information on how to best prepare for it, giving them every opportunity to succeed.
